BEAHR is a partnership between the Canadian Council for Human Resources in the Environment Industry (CCHREI) and the Aboriginal Human Resource Development Council of Canada (AHRDCC). BEAHR is funded by the Government of Canada's Sector Council Program.

The goal of BEAHR is to increase Aboriginal employment in the environment sector by 6,000 positions over the next fifteen years. BEAHR will reach this goal by developing programs based on career awareness, the provision of training and employment resources, and the recognition of environmental excellence. BEAHR was created to positively influence the long-term employability of Aboriginal people in the environment sector.

BEAHR's full suite of programs for Aboriginal Educators, students, employers, and environmental practitioners can be found by visiting our website at www.beahr.com.
